If you call for a ride, a AAA tow truck will pick you and your vehicle up and take you home, or somewhere else that&rsquo;s safe, within 10 miles.<\/p>\n<p>In that way, you can avoid a DUI charge and penalties for a first offense that include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Jail time that ranges from 48 hours to 11 months and 29 days<\/li>\n<li>Driver&rsquo;s license revocation for up to a year (restricted licenses are available)<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory participation in an alcohol and drug treatment program<\/li>\n<li>A fine ranging from $350 to $1,500<\/li>\n<li>Mandatory installation of an ignition interlock device &ndash; at your expense<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have been charged with drunk driving, you can protect your freedom and license with the help of a lawyer experienced in effective DUI defense.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It is the holiday on which America celebrates its birthday.
